Purpose of the Position:
The Partner Manager (PM) is responsible for developing, supporting, and stimulating a group of AVANT partners in the Western Region.  These activities are performed primarily via telephone, email, and in-market meetings. The PM will generate incremental revenue opportunities through a constant focus on channel sales enablement activities to drive revenue growth for the assigned base. The PM will promote and educate partners on products, services, sales/marketing initiatives. The PM will actively participate in coordinated sales calls with the partners and suppliers. The PM will be expected to meet or exceed target metrics. This is a full-time position.

 

Essential Functions


Position Highlights:
  • A key contributor to AVANT’s sales and marketing growth strategy
  • Recruit new partners in assigned territory
  • Provide ongoing liaison support between partnerss and providers
  • Create and provide sales quotes and presentations
  • Manage opportunities from initiation, through final paperwork
  • Lead a variety of company marketing events and communications projects
  • Provide timely and accurate data entry and information management
  • Actively participate in overall day to day operations of the company
  • Initiate sales calls, make appointments, and schedule timely follow ups
  • Provide a positive experience for all assigned partners
  • Drive attendance at regular sales and technical trainings
  • Project manage on-boarding and training process for all new partners
  • Proactively make outbound calls to all partners in designated territory
  • Demand generation activities
  • Blitz/call days to partners
  • Provide accurate funnel reporting in AVANT’s CRM


Qualification Highlights:
  • Extremely well organized with strong attention to detail
  • Technologically savvy; including high familiarity with Word, Excel, and data base applications involving computer use and data entry
  • Uses logical, practical and systematic approach to problem solving
  • Ability to handle, and simultaneously balance, a wide variety of multiple tasks under short time constraints
  • Customer service orientation, including empathetic listening skills, pleasant phone personality, and positive attitude
  • Creative problem solving skills in assessing customer issues, identifying possible solutions, then implementing long-term strategy solutions
  • Thrive in an environment that values servant leadership, high efficiency, personal dependability and organizational commitment
  • Ability to articulate well over the phone
  • Requirements & Experience:
  • Undergraduate degree
  • 5-10 years experience as PM or similar work experience
  • Proven success in consistently achieving goals
