AVANT is excited to announce the addition of another heavy hitter
to the team, a Microsoft and HPE alumni, Juan Ochoa, as AVANT’s new Sr. Director of Contracts. Juan will be responsible for developing an industry-changing licensing program to enable the cloud channel ecosystem, and securing top notch, impenetrable agreements with leading vendors to protect the long-term revenue of our partners.
Juan comes to us from Microsoft, with over fifteen years of business development and channel experience and more than ten years of Licensing Programs management experience. Juan’s experience makes him uniquely qualified as AVANT builds a cloud channel licensing program that will become the standard for how channel partners are enabled in the rapidly evolving IT and cloud distribution industry. Juan’s experience will help AVANT ensure we are managing and optimizing service provider agreements so that partners can be confident that their residual revenues are the best in the industry and secure.

Working for Microsoft, Juan designed and launched first Online Services Reseller Program in Microsoft for large telcos to resell O365, which became the base for the newer Cloud Service Provider program (CSP). He also negotiated and signed top Telcos worldwide to Microsoft’s Syndication program, including AT&T, Verizon, Deutsche Telekom, British Telecom, Telstra, Telefonica, America Movil, France Telecom, and others.
